Vietnam tech outlook: Banking and evolving tax rules for IT companies

About this event

Vietnam’s IT sector is expanding fast, moving beyond traditional software design into AI solutions, SaaS models, data centers and digital platforms. As these modern business models evolve, tax authorities are tightening scrutiny using digital data analytics, with intense audit focus on revenue recognition, transfer pricing and tax incentives.

To help tech businesses navigate this tightening environment, Acclime Vietnam and Standard Chartered Bank are hosting a joint seminar tailored for IT leaders and financial decision-makers. This practical session moves away from broad theories to deliver real-world advice on optimising day-to-day corporate banking while building a resilient strategy to survive tax audits.

This seminar is primarily reserved for Acclime’s IT clients. Only 8 seats are available for non-clients, so early registration is strongly encouraged.

Key topics

  • The evolving IT landscape: How modern tech business models impact tax compliance.
  • Tax audit focus areas: Navigating recent audit trends, including transfer pricing, revenue recognition and R&D incentives.
  • Market outlook update and integrated corporate banking solutions supporting cross-border business operations, including transaction banking, cash management, multi-currency accounts, foreign exchange risk management and customised cash flow and working capital solutions for the technology sector.
  • Case studies.
