About this event
This breakfast seminar is designed for Australian businesses and investors looking to expand into New Zealand, as well as New Zealand businesses and investors moving in the other direction. Attendees will gain practical insight into the tax issues that arise on entry into a new market, during ongoing operations and on exit.
The session is especially timely following the May federal budgets in both countries, including the Australian changes to capital gains tax and negative gearing, and the corresponding New Zealand budget measures. It matters because these developments can materially affect cross border structuring and investment decisions on both sides of the Tasman.
